Ok, so here is the advert for the new Canon SLR camera.
However, you could easily be mistaken for thinking that this is an advert for a holiday destination. We see brief images of the camera itself, but we learn nothing about its features. Instead we are presented with a series of images which signify a fun, vibrant and exciting lifestyle. There is only one thing which signifies the taking of photos - when we see the fire spinner person spinning the fire, and we are shown a series of long exposure images.
The advert is almost entirely shot using point of view (POV) shots - enhancing the feeling of you being a part of the action, taking all these exciting images. The footage has been highly saturated which almost makes the advert feel dream like - but this will also reinforce the idea of the camera taking superior photographs.
